Renewable energy production has been at the forefront of global, national, and local investment.

SG Inc. (sginc.net/) is a commercial and utility solar contractor based in VA, with projects in several nearby states including right here in Maryland. One such project is taking place at a large warehouse conversion project in Hampstead, Maryland.

SG Inc. is installing 20,000+ solar panels on the roof, connected to several AC disconnects at ground level. SG Inc. reached out to Foundation Test Group, as they had a next-day need for concrete inspection for the concrete pads supporting these disconnects, as well as bearing capacity testing on the slab subbase. FTG was on site the following day, and provided timely and accurate inspection services.
