Project Details

The Malcolm X Avenue Bridge/Interstate 295 Interchange is located in Washington, DC from South Capitol Street S.E. to St. Elizabeth’s West Campus Entrance. Equipment installation and monitoring, testing and analysis began in 2019. Foundation Test Group mobilized to provide a wide range of specialty testing services including Augercast Pile Inspection, Drive Pile Inspection, Dynamic Load and Pile Testing, Wave Equation Analysis of Piles, Tilt Meter Installation and Monitoring, Thermal Integrity Profiling, and Tie-Back Proof Testing for the construction of a total of 7 Bridges that comprise the interchange.
