When last minute requests for load testing, CSL testing and drilled shaft inspection came in, Contractor Petillo New York and Drilled Shaft Contractor Precision Drilling knew where to look.

When given the parameters of testing, Foundation Test Group designed a test program utilizing Apple dynamic testing, static lateral load testing, CSL and manned inspection of shaft installation.

The load tests were accomplished at production shaft locations as other shafts were drilled and prepared for concrete placement after successful axial and lateral load testing. FTG's testing methodology allowed the Contractor to save valuable time on this site with an extremely tight schedule.

All load tests exceeded expectations, shafts were properly installed without defects by Precision Drilling as verified by inspection and post concrete placement Crosshole Sonic Logging (CSL).

The work for this project, Sailfish, became FTG's "Catch of the Day!"
